
Women’s Centre for Change (WCC) Penang has in collaboration with MCPF published via e-Poster the 4th in its series with the August 2023 titled “How to Prevent Cyberbullying”. The 5 key points Advisory covers 1. Treat others with respect you would like to receive; 2. Stop and think before you post or share online; 3. Never reveal your personal information or that of someone else online; 4. When you see cyberbullying happening, stand up for the victim; and, 5. Tell a trusted adult about any cyberbullying you witnessed so as to get help. Past series published online have included: Series #1 (March / April 2023) – “How Online Groomers Work”; Series #2 (May 2023) – “Signs a Child is Affected by Online Violence”; Series #3 (July 2023) – “Immediate Steps to Take When Things Go Wrong Online”.
