Y.Bhg. Dato Ong Poh Eng and his PGC Durian Golf Championship Organizing Committee successfully held an 18 holes Tournament with MCPF Penang at the Penang Golf Club, Bukit Jambul, Penang on Sunday 12^th June 2022. The Event attracted 25 flights (100 golfers) which was won by Ms. Loh Yen Shin. This one-day Golf Championship was to help raise funds for MCPF Penang to implement its various Crime Prevention Awareness programs and was indeed well supported by other (non-golfing) supporters who joined in the buffet luncheon and durian fest. In his address, Dato’ Ong Poh Eng as MCPF Penang Chairman thanked all participants and supporters and took the opportunity to provide better awareness on MCPF and its critical roles at State and District levels with its key partner PDRM and other agencies like AADK, Municipal Councils (MBPP and MBSP) as well as the Academia and Education Department and Residential communities and areas. He emphasized on contemporary Crime issues and singled out the sharp rise of various Scams and Cybercrimes. Kudos to PGC and MCPF Penang as well as the various prize winners.
