Penang State “JOM Ke-Sekolah Program 2019” at SMK Bukit Jambul, Gelugor

The Penang State “JOM Ke-Sekolah Program 2019” was successfully completed on 18th February 2019 at SMK Bukit Jambul, Jalan Bukit Gelugor, Gelugor, Penang. YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo, Chief Police Officer of Penang was accompanied by YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah, Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department Penang; YDH SAC Dato’ Zainal bin Samah, Head of Crime Investigation Department Penang; YDH SAC Zaharulhisham bin Ahmad, Head of Special Branch Penang and YDH ACP Che Zaimani bin Che Awang, OCPD – North-East District and his other Heads of Department, Senior Police Officers of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, RMP Penang and Inspector Muhammad Amir bin Muhamad, PPS (Pegawai Perhubungan Sekolah / School Liaison Officer) for SMK Bukit Jambul. The Penang State Education Department Director Yg Berusaha Dr. Mahanom binti Mat Sam jointly launched the “Let’s Go to School” Program with YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo. Yg Berusaha Encik Abdul Rashid bin Abdul Samad, Deputy Director of Education, Penang; Yg Berusaha Puan Hajah Azizah Bte Paijo,, Headmistress of SMK Bukit Jambul and Encik Rosli bin Mat Abu, Chairman of PIBG SMK Bukit Jambul were also present. In his address YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran underlined that this “JOM Ke-Sekolah” Program was to help cultivate awareness and responsible attitude among school going teenagers. This also reflected a close working relationship between the Royal Malaysia Police and State Education Department.

The launching of the PPS Notice Board acts as a platform for cooperation and integration with school parties and students in promoting healthy school activities.
