MCPF SPT DLC conducted a visit to the District Police Headquarters / Ibu Pejabat Daerah (IPD) Seberang Perai Tengah on 22^nd February 2019.  They were well received by YDH Supt. Mohd Mustafa bin Bidin (Deputy OCPD SPT) and ASP Azman Bin Mohd Kayat (Ketua Bahagian Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti (Crime Prevention and Community Safety) cum SPT DLC Vice-Chairman (I). MCPF SPT DLC visitors included its Secretary Jacob Pao King Hing, Committee Member Victor Lim Kok Hooi, Committee Member Kenny Ho Kee Meng and Committee Member Cikgu Hakimi bin Saman of Jabatan Daerah Pendidikan (District Education Department) SPT. EL Ching presented a copy of MCPF Penang 2018 Highlights Magazine-Booklet to Supt. Mohd Mustafa. The meeting highlighted possible Primary and Secondary School programs pertaining to Drugs and Crime; the revival of Crime Prevention Clubs in Schools to enhance the awareness of crime / crime prevention to School students; unreported crime cases including those considered too trivial to be reported and are resolved by school authorities; reported crime cases, bullying and drug abuse outside of school premises; highlighting such issues at Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) / PIBG – Persatuan Ibu Bapa – Guru; the untoward influence of undisciplined students over other fellow students; program encompassing drugs and related crimes towards higher Institutions of Learning (IPTA / IPTS: Institut Pengajian Tinggi Awam / Institut Pengajian Tinggi Swasta); embarking on a joint MCPF SPT DLC and Crime Prevention Club (Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah) in Sekolah Permatang Pasir; and Community Programs with Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) and Skim Ronda Sukarelawan (SRS) with MCPF SPT DLC.
