
WCC Penang invited MCPF SPU SLC to attend and support their “Ok Tak Ok” Program at SJK (T) Mak Mandin on 29th August 2024. This program was a result of an initiated connection that Malaysia Hindudharma Mamandran Penang had with the SJK(T) Mak Mandin being extended to WCC Penang. Ms YY Yeap WCC Community Outreach Lead invited their WCC Volunteer Mr. Armaan Kana to give a talk to 120 Standard 5 and 6 students on being more aware of ‘Bad’ Touch (symbolized with a ‘Red’ Card) and allowable ‘Good’ Touch (symbolized by a ‘Green’ Card). MCPF SPU DLC was represented by its Chairman Mr. Munusamy Muniandy, Secretary Mr. Haribalan Gopal and Committee Member Mr. Liew Zhi Sern. Also in attendance from Malaysia Hindudharma Mamandran were their Women’s Bureau Chairperson Puan Thamilselvi and Committee Members Puan Nirosha and Puan Mohana. A note of acknowledgement to MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran for his kind sponsorship of the Tamil version of “Samir and His Online Friend” which were distributed to the students by MCPF SPU DLC.
