
MCPF SPU DLC held its 2nd Meeting for 2019 at SPM Driving Institute Meeting Room on 3rd August 2019 evening. The meeting was chaired by SPI DLC Chairman (cum MCPF Penang SLC Member) Munusamy Muniandy. Others in attendance included Secretary Mohd Nordin bin Saad, Treasurer Madzuki bin Md Nor, DLC Member Mariappan G. Krishnasamy, DLC Member Adura Shahizan bin Abdul Razak from Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah SPU and DLC Member Haribalan Gopal. DLC Members present were presented officially with their Letters of Appointment for 2019/2020. The DLC Members present were updated by Adura Madzuki that there were a total of 63 Primary Schools (SJK: 43; SJKC: 16 and SJKT: 4) and 30 Secondary Schools (Vocational College: 1; 6th Form Kolej Desa Murni: 1; SM Sains: 1; SABK: 4; SMKA: 1; SMK: 21 and SMJKC: 1). The DLC Meeting also covered the ‘Revival of Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah Sekolah’, dialogue with selected schools for 2020 programs, immediate opportunity for a school program at SMS Kepala Batas for over 450 Forms 1, 2 and 4 students, literature available on Bullying, Drugs and Crimes and how to work closely with RMP SPU and other NGOs.
