
MCPF Penang’s sponsorship of Sexual Harassment Awareness booklets “Samir & His Online Friend” / “Samir & Kawan Onlinenya” continues to be positively used by Women’s Centre for Change (WCC) Penang with 5 different schools benefiting from students being provided with increased awareness of the dangers of the ‘OK Tak OK’ issue. In the month of July 2024 a further 323 students from 5 schools (Years 4, 5 & 6) were handed out this informative literature: 56 Std 6 students from SK Alma, Bukit Mertajam on 12th July 2024; 110 Std 5 and 6 students from SK Sungai Puyu, Butterworth on 13th July 2024; 56 Years 4, 5 and 6 students from a SK Keledang Jaya, Nibong Tebal on 18th July 2024; 75 students from another Bukit Mertajam Primary School on 24th July 2024; and, 26 students from a Simpang Ampat Primary School on 16th July 2024. Be informed that only schools that have given their permission to be mentioned by WCC Penang’s Social Media will have the names of the schools being publicized.
