
MCPF Penang represented by YBhg. Dato’ M. Kaleessvaran (Committee Member), Mr. Felix Chuah Gim Chuan (Timur Laut DLC Chairman), and Mr. Joseph Sawaremuthu (Committee Member) were invited by WCC Penang to attend an “OK Tak OK” Program at SJK (T) Azad, Jalan Kebun Bunga, George Town, Penang on 14th June 2024. The school students from Standards 3 to 6 numbered 49 in total. It was a program where through the Q & A Session, one of the students were identified to have become an unfortunate victim of sexual abuse. WCC’s Ms. Yeap Ying Ying reached out to the child with the teacher and helped to facilitate further actions to be taken by the school and follow-up by WCC being set in place. WCC Penang thanked the MCPF Penang representatives and looks forward to further collaboration with MCPF Penang.
