
This 2nd Meeting for MCPF Penang SLC was postponed from March due to schedule conflicts for the 4th week of March 2018.
Highlights from this 2nd Meeting of 2018 included:
Extending Congratulatory Note to MCPF Deputy Chairman Dato’ K. Pulayantran on being selected as one of the Vice-Chairman for the new 2018-2020 MCPF Federal EXCO;
Appreciation from Chairman Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali on the successful
execution of the recent Townhall Engagement Program held at Politeknik Seberang Perai on 15th March 2018;
Agreement that plans should be put in place for a Crime Prevention Study Tour of Jakarta rather than Bangkok as recently brainstormed at the 28th February 2018 Off-site Retreat;
A reminder and strong encouragement by Chairman Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali to all MCPF Penang DLC Chairman to work closely with their respective District Education / HEM Officers to role out its Crime Prevention efforts to selected schools;
Acknowledgement of the sponsorship our well received “MCPF Penang 2017 Highlights – Programs, Activities and Key Events” book by Dato’ K. Pulayantran;
Endorsement of the inclusion of Vice-Chairman (II) Rosli Mohamed Ali, Treasurer Harikumar Katherasen and SLC Members Associate Professor Dr. Chua Soo Yean and Johnny Michael Tan to the Organizing Committee and to support Associate Professor Dr. P. Sundramoorthy for the forthcoming Asian Criminological Society Seminar firmed up for 24th to 28th July 2018
