
A Blood Donation Program commemorating the 212th Police Day Celebrations was held at Mydin Bukit Mertajam Mall, Jalan Baru, SPT on 20th April 2019. Organized by Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent in collaboration with MCPF Penang, Lions Club International, Health Department of Bukit Mertajam, Hospital Taiping – Perak, Hospital Baling – Kedah and the Management of Mydin Bukit Mertajam Mall. The Program was inaugurated by YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo – Chief Police Officer of Penang. MCPF Penang was well represented by its State Liaison Committee and District Liaison Committee Members that included MCPF SLC Member / SPT DLC Member Ridzuan Md Zain (who also represented MCPF in collecting the Certificate of Appreciation from CP Dato’ Naren), MCPF SLC Member / SPS DLC Secretary Paramaguru Balan Moghan, MCPF SLC Member / SPU DLC Chairman Munusamy Muniandy, MCPF North-East (Timur Laut) DLC Member Kathiraveloo Thangiah, MCPF SPT DLC Member Goh Hoe Eng and MCPF SPU DLC Member Mariappan Krishnasamy. MCPF Penang had 300 pocket books of its “100 Tips Keselamatan Jenayah / 100 Crime Safety Tips” distributed to the public and had bilingual literature references for its “Say NO to Bullying” and “Say No to Gangsterism” available at its ‘service desk’. A pleasant surprise was the visit of MCPF Pahang’s Dato’ Sri Johny Chng Ewe Gee who was also amongst 300 Blood Donors for the day.
