MCPF Penang SLC Core Tea Members led by Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali held a short Strategic Discussion over dinner at Sakurajima Japanese & Chinese Restaurant, Penang Golf Club Bukit Jambul on 12th November 2019. Also in attendance were Deputy Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ K. Pulayantran; Vice-Chairman (II) Rosli Mohamed Ali; Secretary Dr. EL Ching and Treasurer Harikumar Katherasen. Amongst the items brainstormed were a review of SLC and DLC performances and structure; a review of the Secretary and Assistant Secretary positions, functions and responsibility including the identification of a new person to replace incumbent Assistant Secretary Nasrul Faizal; utilization of MCPF Penang SLC Office; the drafting of roles and responsibilities of the Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Quartermaster, SLC and DLC Chairmen; and SOP on Organizing Programs – especially School Programs by the Secretary.
