MCPF Penang pays courtesy call and have a meeting with AADK P. Pinang at the AADK Office

MCPF Penang was led by its Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng in a courtesy call and meeting with Agensi Anti-Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK) P. Pinang Office at Level 5, Bangunan Persekutuan, Jalan Anson, George Town on 24th June 2022.  AADK P.  Pinang Director Puan Elmariah Chung and her key Team members Aina Rafida binti Abu Bakar (Deputy Director), Mohd Zaki bin Ablah (Deputy Director), Suhaida binti Mior Aris, K. Lalithawathy (AADK Timur Laut), Sarif Kamaludin (AADK Barat Daya), Suriati binti Ahmad (AADK SPU, Suridah binti Ahmed Kasidi (AADK SPT) and Mohd Akhair bin Abdul Rashid (AADK SPS) hosted the visitors. MCPF Penang was represented by its Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng, Deputy Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran, Secretary JM Tan, Treasurer Harikumar Katherasen, Timur Laut DLC Chairman Felix Chuah Gim Chuan, Barat Daya DLC Chairman James Mohan, SPU DLC Chairman Munusamy Muniandy, SPT DLC Chairman Ridzuan Md Zain, SPS DLC Chairman Paramaguru Balan Moghan and Committee Member Rahumatullah bin Ibrahim. Overview sharing of the respective organizations were covered by Mohd Zaki bin Ablah (AADK) and JM Tan (MCPF). Both AADK and MCPF looked forward to moving together with new strategies / suggestions and seeking new solutions in the spirit of collaboration and cooperation to battle Drug abuse – a long term global issue. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng underlined that MCPF Penang is seeking to learn from AADK and to be able to contribute effectively in its joint efforts. AADK updated on the Drugs scenario, Penang Strategy in battling Drug threats, Program Tempat Kerja Bebas Dadah (TEKAD), Program Penghijuan Kawasan Berisiko (KBT), and Gerak SKUAD AADK involving Youth Volunteers. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng expressed keen interest to pursue School Programs and TEKAD with AADK P. Pinang.
