
MCPF Penang led by its Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng was well represented at MCPF 28th AGM held at the Maktab Polis Diraja Malaysia (Dewan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah), Cheras, Kuala Lumpur on 23rd April 2022. The Penang contingent included Deputy Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran; SLC Member Y.Bhg. Dato’ Maj. (H) M. Kaleessvaran; Secretary JM Tan; Felix Chuah (Timur Laut DLC Chairman); James Mohan (Barat Daya DLC Chairman); Paramaguru Balan Moghan (SPS SLC Chairman); Munusamy Muniandy (SPU DLC Chairman); Joseph Sawaremuthu (SLC Member) and Komogan Lingam (SPS DLC Member). The AGM was chaired by YB Dato’ Seri Hamzah bin Zainudin, Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of MCPF Malaysia. In his keynote address he touched on the importance of continuing Crime Awareness and Prevention efforts working in cognizance with PDRM and other Government Ministries and Agencies. Particular issues emphasized upon were those pertaining to misuse of drugs and the current pervasive scams. Another key highlight at this AGM was the Letters of Appointment being handed out to State Liaison Committee Chairmen. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng expressed his sincere appreciation to all members who made the efforts to attend this AGM.
