PENSEC (Penang Security Practitioner Association) held its 10^th AGM at Sun Tech Building 10^th Floor, Multi-Purpose Hall on 28^th March 2019. The Pre-AGN event was a Talk entitled “Gathering Information / Intelligence ‘Within’” by YDH ACP Amarpall Singh Sidhu, Deputy Head of Special Branch, Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent. His one hour Talk captivated the audience of 53 Attendees encompassing Objectives / Threats, Intelligence Cycle, Information Management and Requirements, Collection Methodologies, Basic Principles, Key Elements of Secrecy and Security, Good Traits and Good information, Protective Security and Human Weaknesses. The AGM followed suit which also had its biennial election of Office Bearers, EXCO Members and Auditors. Krishnan Maniam (TF-AMD Regional Security cum MCPF South-West DLC Member) was re-elected as Chairman. Ponnalagu Arumugam (Cypress Semiconductor cum MCPF South-West (Barat Daya) DLC Treasurer was elected as one of the 5 EXCO Members whilst JM Tan, MCPF Penang SLC Member cum MCPF North-East (Timur Laut) DLC Chairman was elected was one of the 2 Auditors.

The agenda for the afternoon culminated with MCPF Penang SLC Member cum MCPF South-West District Chairman James Mohan sharing a brief outline of MCPF for the knowledge and awareness of the 43 other PENSEC Members present who were not affiliated to MCPF.
