MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman’s Caring Community Outreach proven yet again in Penang’s most trying natural disaster

MCPF Penang SLC Deputy Chairman cum Seberang Perai Selatan DLC Chairman’s Community Outreach efforts was displayed yet again during the trying period immediately following the aftermath effects of the massive floods that hit Penang State over the weekend of 4th / 5th November 2017.

At RT Bukit Minyak on 5th November 2017
Dato’ K. Pulayantran was present at the RT (Rukun Tetangga) Centre in Bukit Minyak on 5th November 2017 to hand over hampers, food and cash to flood victims in a scheduled Deepavali celebration turned into a Flood Victim Assistance event.

At Taman Bukit Minyak, Taman Sentul, Taman Mangga and Dewan Serbaguna Juru on 6th November 2017
Thereafter on evening / night of 6th November 2017 Dato’ K. Pulayantran was on hand to visit flood evacuation shelters set up by JKKK (Jabatan Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Kampung) and RT (Rukun Tetangga) at Taman Bukit Minyak, Taman Sentul, Taman Mangga and Dewan Serbaguna Juru. His participation in local humanitarian and NGO efforts to distribution of drinking water, hygiene essentials, household items and food is top notch. Dato’ K. Pulayantran generosity included the donation of cash for school children impacted by the ravages of the floods in these areas.


At Juru Area, Seberang Perai Tengah on 12th November 2017
Dato’ K. Pulayantran made yet another heartwarming visit to flood victims in the Juru Area, Seberang Perai Tengah on the afternoon where he helped to distribute drinking water, hygiene essentials, critical items like stoves, racks, house cleaning tools and much needed food. This was the third time within a week that Dato’ K. Pulayantran took time from his busy schedule to be with the community needing compassion and assistance. ‘Nandri Vanikam’ Dato’ Endran!
Kudos also to MCPF Penang SLC Member Paramguru Balan Moghan who accompanied Dato’ K. Pulayantran on all three occasions on 5th, 6th and 12th November 2017.
