
MCPF Penang led by its SLC Member / MCPF (Federal) EXCO / Penang Golf Club CEO Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng worked full swing over a fortnight to plan and to execute a successful Golf Tournament scheduled for Sunday 23rd February 2020 at the Penang Golf Club, Bukit Jambul which was to be followed up by a Farewell Dinner for the retiring Penang Chief Police Officer YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo on the same evening. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng and his Penang Golf Club staff members worked closely with YDH Supt. A. A. Anbalagan (OCPD, Barat Daya) to ensure full support and participation from golfers, sponsors and Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent. MCPF Penang members who were actively involved within the Organizing Committee included Dato’ Ong himself, SLC Member / PGC Staff Choo Eng Hin, Secretary / SPT DLC Chairman Dr. EL Ching, SLC Member / Timur Laut DLC Chairman JM Tan and SLC Member / Barat Daya DLC Chairman James Mohan. 3 engaging Organizing Committee meetings were held at PGC’s Sakurajima Restaurant / PGC Administration Main Meeting Room on 10th, 17th, and 21st February 2020. Kudos to this team for their dedication and effective execution.
