Timur Laut DLC Meeting 02/2019 was held at Bilik Perdana, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Timur Laut on 25^th June 2019. It was chaired by JM Tan (Chairman) and attended by DLC Members Felix Chuah Gim Chuan (VC II), Ronald Cecil Aeria (Secretary), Kathiraveloo Thangiah (Treasurer), and Mohd Fahmy bin Mustafa (DLC Member). As the host of this meeting, Mohd Fahmy also invited along the North-East District Co-curriculum officers Jalil bin Abdul Karim (Penolong PPD, PPDa); Puan Rosnani binti Rasidi (Penolong PPD, Bim. Kauns & Kerjaya Murid); and Abul Qalam bin Hamid (Penyelia Kanan, Hal Ehwal Murid). Also in attendance was Dr. Asha Dass from SMK Teknikal Tuanku Abdul Rahman Putra who was welcomed to share the plans for an upcoming school program in the 3^rd week of July 2019. The DLC members present brainstormed and selected 3 new DLC Members from a pool of 5 worthy potentials. Additionally, Chairman JM Tan updated all present on the focus to support the ‘Rejuvenation of Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah for schools where it was agreed that 4 to max 6 schools would be selected as exemplary ones for other Timur Laut schools to emulate. A resolution to set up an MCPF TL DLC Communications Board at IPD Timur Laut was also endorsed. TL DLC will also be making it a priority to pay a courtesy visit to the Office of Puan Azizah binti Paijo as soon as possible to help facilitate the smooth implementation of planned School Programs.
