As a kick off to his reappointment as the North-East (Timur Laut) DLC Chairman, JM Tan paid a courtesy visit to the office of YDH ACP Che Zaimani bin Che Awang, OCPD of Timur Laut on 27^th May 2019. JM Tan handed over the official communique from MCPF Penang announcing the appointments of District Liaison Committee Chairmen for 2019/2020. He shared the latest MCPF Penang SLC Organization structure and underlined the focused attention toward School Crime Prevention programs using a consistency of approach based on a White Paper by SPT DLC, the challenges on fighting the Drug Menace in collaboration with RMP and AADK as well as the importance of working with RMP’s School Liaison Officers / Education Department of Penang (State / District). MCPF Timur Laut DLC advocate DSP Chang Kut Choy (now the Division Head of Management, Timur Laut) was welcomed to join in the meeting by ACP Che Zaimani – who is also Timur Laut DLC Advisor.
