
The close harmony and working relationship between PDRM and Lions Club International was further underlined with a special “Durian ‘Fellowship’” feast at Penang Golf Club, Bukit Jambul on 10th August 2018. Among key Police Senior Staff and Personnel in attendance were YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah (Head of Department, Crime Prevention and Community Safety cum MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]); YDH ACP Som Sak Din Keliaw (Deputy HOD, CPCSD, Penang – Strategic Planning); YDH ACP Mat Zain (Deputy HOD, Special Branch, Penang); YDH ACP Nik Ros Azhan bin Nik Abd Hamid (OCPD, Seberang Perai Tengah); other Heads of Departments and their representatives; other Ketua Formasi (Ketua Polis Daerah) and their representatives and Senior Police Officers of CPCSD Penang. Hosting the distinguished guests to the King of the Fruits were Lion Felix Chuah (District Cabinet Officer, Lions Club Penang / MCPF Penang SLC Member); Lion Choo Eng Hin (District Cabinet Officer – PDRM / MCPF Penang SLC Member); Lion Chua Yu Beng (Zone 1 Chairperson) and other Penang Lions Club Committee Members and Lions Club Members). This gathering undoubtedly helps to solidify the close bond between PDRM and NGOs that it works with.
