
Penang State officially bade farewell to its outgoing Chief Police Officer YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo who handed over his duties to his incoming successor YDH CP Dato’ Sahabudin bin Manan at a special ceremony held at the Dewan Mutiara, IPK Pulau Pinang on 3rd March 2020. MCPF Penang attendees included Deputy Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ K. Pulayantran and MCPF SLC Members M. Kaleessvaran, Syed Abdul Rahman Syed Jaafar, Munusamy Muniandy and Yazid Razali. Also sighted was MCPF Federal EXCO Member Y.Bhg. Dato’ Sri Johny Chng Ewe Ghee. YDH SAC Dato’ Zainol bin Hj. Samah (CID Head), YDH SAC Zaharulhisham bin Ahmad (Head of Special Branch) and YDH SAC Zundin bin Mahmood (Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety) were in attendance. Other Heads of Departments, District Police Chiefs, Formation, Senior Officers and Police Officers from RMP HQ Penang and members of the Press / Media were also present. MCPF Penang extends its fullest appreciation and congratulations to CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo and a very warm welcome to CP Dato’ Sahabudin bin Manan.
