The 6^th Community Outreach Program co-organized by MCPF Penang and Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent since 2013 was held on Saturday 10^th September 2016 at the Promenade Area of Kompleks Bukit Jambul.  COP@KBJ event also marks the 3^rd stop of MCPF Penang’s ongoing ‘Blow a Whistle to Stop a Crime’ Campaign.

MCPF Penang Chairman Dato’ Syed Jaafar Syed Ali and DCP Dato’ Roslee bin Chik, Deputy CPO, Penang addressed the morning crowd.  This was followed by a T-Baton Demonstration by the Timur Laut District Police contingent; a ‘Blow a Whistle to Stop a Crime’ ‘whistle-off’; a walking tour of selected PDRM Exhibits and a Walkabout by MCPF Penang, PDRM Penang and Management of KBJ.  Crime Prevention brochures / pamphlets and whistles were also distributed in ‘pit stops’ made during the walkabout at the Ground Floor of KBJ.  Other Senior Police Officers in attendance were ACP Haji Nordin Haji Manan of JPJKK, IPK Penang; Supt. Zulkifli bin Taha, Deputy OCPD (II) of IPD Timur Laut; Supt. Zainudin Mahadi (JPJKK IPK Penang) and DSP Chee Yin Kein of JPJKK, IPD Timur Laut.  Kompleks Bukit Jambul host in attendance was Ms Crystal Wong, General Manager of KBJ.  MCPF Penang SLC Members in attendance were Vice-Chairman (II) Dato’ K. Pulayantran, Rahumatullah Ibrahim, Felix Chuah, Choo Eng Hin, Mohd Nizam Mohd Noor, Munusamy Muniandy, Joseph Sawaremuthu and (Organizing Chairman) JM Tan.  MCPF Penang Ordinary Member Syed Abdul Rahman Syed Jaafar was also amongst the supporters.
