MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman cum SPS DLC Chairman Dato’ K. Pulayantran was a Guest of Honor invited to address the Indian community by Seberang Perai Selatan NGOs at the Kuil Agni Muniswara, Permatang Tinggi on 24^th August 2017. Dato’ K. Pulayantran emphasized that the spirit of Merdeka also meant the need for continuing patriotism by all Malaysians irrespective of ethnicity. He encouraged all present to be aware of the history of our struggle for independence amidst the framework of racial, religious and cultural harmony amongst the then (1957) three major races of the Malayan Peninsula. Dato’ K. Pulayantran stressed that a nation with peace and harmony bodes well for the future success and prosperity of the country and all its citizens.
