Over 200+ CCTV Cameras have been installed in Seberang Perai Utara, Tengah and Selatan at key high traffic areas / traffic junctions; 2. CCTV Cameras installed strategically at ‘Hot Spot’ areas are utilized to not only monitor ongoing / live Traffic situations but also act as a Crime Prevention deterrence; 3. Plans and Budget are in the woks to increase the CCTVs to around 5X the current number; 4. Alongside with parallel link ups with PDRM (IPK and the 3 Seberang Perai IPDs) this 24/7/365 System helps to curb the dimensions of Crime ‘Opportunities & Capabilities’ whilst recognizing that the fundamentals of ‘Desire’ and ‘Need’ of would be crime perpetrators would still be present.
