MCPF Penang collaborates with PMGB SJK(T) Pulau Pinang to hold Motivation Seminar for Student and Teachers at SP Arena, Seberang Jaya

An enthralling Seminar “Motivasi bagi Murid Murid dan Guru Guru SJKT Penang” (“Motivation for SJKT Penang Students and Teachers”) was successfully completed on 9th November 24, 9:00 AM to 12.00 Noon at Dewan SP Arena, Seberang Jaya, Prai, Pulau Pinang. The program was graced by its VIP Attendees including YB Dato Seri Sundrarajoo Somu, Perai State Assemblyman & EXCO for  Housing and Environment as well as Chairman of SJKT Pulau Pinang; Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng, Chairman MCPF, Pulau Pinang; Y.Brs. Tuan Saktivel Arivandham, Deputy Director, Primary Schools, Schools Management Sector, Education Department, Penang; Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Pulayantran Kayambu, Deputy Chairman, MCPF, Penang; Y.Brs. Tuan Selvakumar, Chairman, Majlis Guru Besar SJKT, Pulau Pinang; Y.Bhg. Dato’ Moorthy Murugiah, Program Main Sponsor; and Y.Brs. Tuan Ravindran, Program Sponsor.  The Seminar benefited over 1200 SJKT, Pulau Pinang School Students and over 300 SJKT Pulau Pinang School Teachers. The highlight of this Program was the opportunity for the audience to be inspired by its Motivational Speakers were – Dr. Parveen Sultana from India and also Mr. M P. Nathan. Also in attendance from MCPF Penang were Mr. Johnny Michael Tan, Secretary, MCPF Penang; Encik Ridzuan Md Zain, Chairman, SPT DLC; Mr. Thomas Goh Eng Wah, Deputy Chairman (II), MCPF SPT DLC; and, Haji Habeeb Rahman bin Kamarul Zaman, SPU DLC Member. The program was officiated by YB Dato Seri Sundrarajoo Somu who reached out in particular the students present on the importance of their future roles in society. Dr. Parveen Sultana presented the highly relevant topic for youths of today on “Think Big & Dream Big”. The key objective of this seminar was to increase student motivation in facing academic and daily life challenges and to provide guidance to teachers to strengthen their role as effective educators. The organizers, sponsors and stakeholders were confident that the event has brought enlightenment for both students and teachers who significantly contributes to the betterment of the community at large. MCPF Penang and its other NGO partners involved look forward to organizing more collaborative programs in the near future.
