
MCPF SPU DLC participated in a “Program Kerohanian & Bimbingan Klien RPDK (Rawatan & Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti)” – “Spirituality & Client Guidance Program” at the Client Integration Centre, Tasek Gelugor, Seberang Perai Utara on Saturday 1st June 2024. This was a Program headed by Jawatankuasa Pemulihan Dadah Daerah SPU in collaboration with MCPF SPU DLC. The speakers involved included YBhg. Dato’ Haji Ahmad bin Darus, Chairman of JKPD Pulau Pinang; Mr. Munusamy Muniandy, Chairman of MCPF SPU DLC; Encik Zammer bin Haidar Ali, Vice-Chairman II of MCPF SPU DLC; Puan Rushidah binti Bakar of JKPD Pulau Pinang; and, Encik Hamdan bin Hashim, Teacher at SK Permatang Binjai. JKPD SPU attendees included Puan Hamidah bin Din and Encik Rosli bin Hassan. In attendance from MCPF SPU DLC were Mr. Haribalan Gopal, Secretary; Encik Madzuki bin Md. Nor, Treasurer; and, Mr. Liew Zhi Sern (Committee Member). This “Spirituality & Client Guidance Program: was successfully conducted with the attendance of 25 RPDK AADK SPU clients. The key objective was to inspire and support clients to become drug-free. This program emphasizes that the physical formation of discipline needs to be carried out in parallel with spiritual formation of a person who is undergoing rehabilitation in the community. The clients in attendance demonstrated good cooperation and appreciated the efforts by the organizers. Kudos to Mr. Munusamy Muniandy and his MCPF SPU DLC Team.
