MCPF Seberang Perai Utara DLC Chairman Munusamy Muniandy, Secretary Haribalan Gopal and Treasurer Madzuki bin Md. Nor were present to attend OP Selamat 21 Launch in conjunction with Chinese New Year 2024 at the Sungai Dua Toll Plaza, SPU on 7^th February 2024. This OP Selamat 21 was jointly organized by PDRM and Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO). YB Lee Boon Heng, State Assemblyman from Kebun Bunga and YB Phee Sun Tze, State Assemblyman from Sungai Dua were present. PDRM Penang was spearheaded by YDH CP Dato’ Khaw Kok Chin (CPO, Penang) and Senior Police Officers present included YSH DCP Dato’ Mohamed Usuf bin Jan Mohamad, Deputy CPO; YDH SAC Rahimi bin Ra’ais, Head of Crime Investigation Department; YDH Supt. Zafri bin Zolkapli, Head of Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department; other Heads of Departments; District OCPDs and Officers; Senior and Junior Police Officers. PERKESO P. Pinang Director Puan Rafidah binti Abdullah Rahim; PLUS Berhad Northern Region Manager Tuan Zulkifly bin Ismail, Penang Road Transport Department Director; Encik Norazizi bin Adinan, Penang Environmental Department Director; and, Kol. (PA) Ishak bin Mohd Radzi, Director, Penang Civil Defence Department were amongst the guests present. OP Selamat 21 was launched with the Theme “Rumah Selamat, Selamat Sampai ke Destinasi” focusing on efforts to minimize road accidents and to increase the safety / security measures of houses during the festive period. Souvenir bags were also distributed to the highway users.
