MCPF Penang supported Program Lawatan Polis – Anugerah Polis Cermelang MCPF Tahun 2022 on 6^th and 7^th September 2022. The Panel of Judges for the Penang selected Polls Stations were Tuan Chan Kuang Yu (MCPF EXCO), Y.Bhg. Datuk Mak Foo Wei (MCPF EXCO), and Tuan Wan Mohd Saiful Sobri (Deputy Director, Jabatan Perpaduan Negara & Integrasi Nasional [JPNIN). They were accompanied by ASP Nurul Atila binti Ayob (Bukit Aman). The four Balai Polis selected for Penang state were Balai Polis Batu Ferringhi (Timur Laut: BP di Pinggir Bandar / Suburb), Balai Polis Bayan Baru (Barat Daya: BP Wawasan Bandar / Urban), Balai Polis Bukit Mertajam (SPT: BP di IPD / District Police HQ) and Balai Polis Simpang Ampat (SPS: BP Luar Bandar / Rural).

Invited to these four events were NGOs, Mosque Committees, Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) representatives, Majlis Pengurusan Komuniti Kampung (MPKK) representative; and local community leaders of the respective districts. The planned (common) itinerary for all 4 Police Stations included Opening Address by Tuan Chan Kuang Yu; Overview of Balai Polis by the BP OCS; Survey using Questionnaire from the participants in attendance; Open Group Q & A (6 Specific Questions); Group Photo and P&C Interview with the host OCS. At each of the Balai Polis around 30 selected community representatives were in attendance. MCPF Penang representatives for each of the District events were BP Batu Ferringhi: Harikumar Katherasen (MCPF Penang Treasurer); BP Bayan Baru: Johnny Michael Tan (MCPF Penang Secretary) and James Mohan (MCPF Penang SLC Member / Barat Daya DLC Chairman); BP Bukit Mertajam: Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran (MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman) and Ridzuan Md Zain (MCPF Penang SLC Member / SPT DLC Chairman); BP Simpang Ampat: Paramaguru Balan Moghan (MCPF Penang SLC Member / SPS DLC Chairman) and Ng Seng Hing (MCPF SPS Treasurer).
