
Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, RMP Penang (cum MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]) YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah went on the Air at Studio Mutiara FM, RTM Jalan Burma, George Town, Penang on 10th July 2019 where he was interviewed by Radio Announcer Norazizah bt Ibrahim. Dato’ Anil Shah spoke on clarification of what ‘Macau Scam’ is all about and how to avoid becoming a victim of one; “Go to Safety Point” (GTSP) focusing on Emergency Assembly and Measures to be taken at Petrol Stations; efforts to ‘Revive’ Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah Sekolah; AMANITA program and how it helps housewives in particular on crime prevention; and, iteration on Volunteer Smartphone Patrol. In his sharing of the ‘Revival’ of Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah Sekolah, Dato’ Anil Shah emphasized that this ongoing efforts would entail close cooperation of the RMP with the State Education Department; PIBG Sekolah; School Authorities and Staff; and MCPF. He explained that through the School Crime Prevention Club under the School Police Cadet Corp would help provide a positive platform amongst young students to participate in Crime Prevention Awareness Programs and Activities and that their ‘Peer Group Management’ influence can have the pull effect of more students becoming involved in this and thus avoiding the pitfalls of negative activities from a young age.
