The Royal Malaysia Police Penang Contingent hosted visitors from the Bangladesh Police Force at RMP Penang HQ on 26^th March 2019. The Bangladesh Police / IMEC Entourage included Md Aurangzeb Mohbub (Additional DIG); S. M. Rokun Udin (Additional DIG); Mohammed Shahidullah Chowdury (Additional DIG); Senior Police Officers and Professor Dr. Selvaraj Oyyan (IMEC). YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah (HOD, Crime Prevention & Community Safety Department cum MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]) delivered the official welcoming address. YDH Supt. Saw Hock Tek (Staff Officer, Community Policing, CPCSD cum MCPF Penang ex-Officio SLC Member) briefed on RMP Penang’s CPCSD; ASP Tuan Matavan Muniandy (Crime Investigation Department) shared on RMP Penang’s Crime Investigation Department; YDH Supt. Chelvam A/L Ramiah Pillai (Commercial Crime Investigation Department) covered aspects of Commercial Crime; and YDH ACP Maidu bin Abu Bakar (HOD, Narcotics Investigation Department) touched on the Narcotics issues / challenges. RMP Penang in attendance included YDH ACP Som Sak A/L Din Keliaw (Deputy HOD, CPCSD – Strategic Planning); YDH ACP Abdul Halim bin Saidin (Deputy HOD, CPCSD – Investigation & Legislation Department); YDH Supt. Wan Sharudin bin Wan Omar (HOD, Traffic Investigation & Enforcement Department); YDH Supt. Dimin bin Awang (representing the Marine Police; YDH Supt. Tan Cheng San (Staff Officer, CPCSD – Ground Operations); YDH Supt. Abdul Halid bin Ludin (Staff Officer, CPCSD – Base / Source); DSP Tuan Azmi in Shukor (Acting HOD, Integrity and Standards Compliance Department); DSP Tuan Shi Tian Aik (representing the Field Reserve Unit) and other Senior Police Officers. The visit continued with a Dialog and Discussion session, group photograph and lunch.
