MCPF Senior Vice-Chairman’s Official Visit to Penang

Day 1: 8th August 2016. An evening with MCPF Penang State Liaison Committee and Senior Officers of Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent

MCPF Senior Vice-Chairman Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lee Lam Thye joined MCPF Penang State Liaison Committee Members and Senior Officers of the Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent for a dinner at Restoran Pen Mutiara, Batu Maung on the night of 8th August 2016. He took pride in sharing his experiences of how he got involved Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation and the origins of its establishment in January 1993. He emphasized the importance of the symbiotic relationship of MCPF with the Royal Malaysia Police in Crime Prevention efforts. At the dinner, he also presented a Plaque/Certificate of Appointment as MCPF Penang Chairman to Dato’ Syed Jaafar Syed Ali for 2016 to 2018. All in attendance were treated to a surprise ‘Durian’ treat as dessert after the dinner.

Day 2: 9th August 2016. “Seminar Pemantapan Integrasi dan Profesionalisme” at Politeknik Seberang Perai

MCPF Senior Vice-Chairman Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lee Lam Thye delivered the Keynote Address to the College Faculty and Students of Politeknik Seberang Perai at their “Seminar Pemantapan Integrasi dan Profesionalisme” on 9th September 2016.  As always, he enraptured the crowd with his usual inspiring and motivational sharing.  Preceding his keynote address were Maj. (H) Haji Zulkifli bin Ariffin, Director of Politeknik Seberang Perai who delivered the Opening Address and Y.Bhg. Dato’ Syed Jaafar Syed Ali, Chairman of MCPF Penang who delivered an Address.
A special presentation was made by YDH Supt. Muhammad Zain Rasit from IPK P. Pinang where his key message underlined the importance of the Theme of the seminar.  The crowd made out primarily by over 500 Year 1 college students of Politeknik Seberang Perai was honoured that the closing ceremony and speech of this event was graced by YDH CP Dato’ Abdul Ghafar bin Rajab, Chief Police Officer of Penang.
Two Press / Media Conferences were held – one with Tan Sri Datuk Seri Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye and a second one with CP Dato’ Abdul Ghafar bin Rajab.
