MCPF Penang North-East (Timur Laut) District Liaison Committee held its 4th DLC Meeting at the MCPF Penang Office on 13th December 2018. Members (and representatives) present reviewed 2018 accomplishments, brainstormed on 2019 plans and discussed ‘Key Challenges’ / ‘Help Needed’ from its Members / Stakeholders and Collaborative partners. JM Tan chaired the afternoon meeting which was attended by TLDLC Vice-Chairman (II) Felix Chuah, TLDLC Secretary Ronald Cecil Aeria, TLDLC Member Ridzuan Md Zain, TLDLC Member Kathiraveloo Thangiah, Cikgu Mohd Qalam Hamid representing Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Timur Laut / TLDLC Member Tuan Mohd Fahmy and Sgt. Azizan Ghazali representing TLDLC JPJKK (Crime Prevention and Community Security Department Chief / TLDLC Vice-Chairman (I) DPS Chee Yin Kein.
Members discussed its desire to make 2019 as successful if not even better than 2018 and have in their plans to step up its School Crime Prevention Awareness programs, look forward to being involved in “George Town Bandar Selamat Events”, greater collaboration with MBPP, more involvement with Lions Club and possibilities with other NGOs.
